Is it abnormal to have a faint clutch chatter w/ an OEM clutch?

Default Is it abnormal to have a faint clutch chatter w/ an OEM clutch?
Abnormal meaning that it is damaging or needs flywheel replacement?

Original? It's certainly not normal for an OEM clutch to get chatter unless it's on it's way out.

Default the flywheel is original....the clutch was replaced 20K miles ago, and then again about 10K ago....
due to oil from the cam tensioner seaping in through the bell housing.

So that flywheel has 120k+ hmmmm.... Odds are it's had a good run, but has to go.

Default only reason I'm asking is b/c a friend of mine has an 06 2.0T Gti...
and he's running a Stage II clutch w/ lightened flywheel, and he's got a ****load of chatter. I know thats due to his upgrades (and normal for his setup), but I guess I'm just trying to justify NOT having to drop more money on this car. lol.

Default Keywords "lightened flywheel" :) I gave up trying to justify dropping $ if you couldn't tell...

Default i wonder if the cause is b/c the 2 surfaces haven't mated yet w/ the recent replacement....
