Default After reading several threads in the archives it looks like there is really only 2 choices for an

EBC.

Greddy Profec B spec II

or

Blitz SBC i-D III

For those of you who actually have an EBC, how well does it work?

Some threads praise the Profec B, others say it sux and they moved on to something else. I read a few threads that suggested I get a Profect B spec I, even with it's fuzzy logic.

Nothing negative has been said about the Blitz EBC, other than it cost a pretty penny. ($655)

I even managed to dig up a article of sport compact car where they compared 5 EBC's and a ball valve. The only ones that performed better that were easy to install are the ones in question.

I'm really looking for some consistency here on how these things perform, (from you AWers) so I can better choose. Right now I am leaning toward the Blitz just because it allows 4 programable settings instead of 2.

TIA.

Default I have a Profec B spec 1...I've heard that spec 2 is hard to dial it right...

Default nice. How did you mount it down there?

The only reason I would like the Blitz is because of the 4 programs. Every once in a while I am stuck letting other people use my ride. I could just dial in 5 psi when they drove, that way they wouldn't have as much of a chance to get into some crazy situation as they would if they were running 1.4 bar. I would have 2 other settings as well.
