Against the archives, rubbing with 225/50/16 tires... what to do?
I have OEM 16" 5 spoke wheels (7x16) on 225/50/16 tires (Goodyear Eagle GS-D+) and they cause rubbing. I have Sachs suspension which is 35 lower that factory non-sport (suspension offered by Audi as a original aftermarket sport-suspension in Switzerland). I upgraded from non-sport suspension.
In a normal daily driving there is no rubbing. Only when cornering hard front tires are rubbing (if turning left, right one is rubbing and vice versa). It is not so bad, but I want to get rid of it.
All archive messages I have red are saying that there will be no rubbing at all with that kind of combination.
Will it help if I get a bigger front sway bar like factory sport suspension? Or is there anything else I can do than go back to my old 15" wheels?

One thing you have to remember....
is that not all tires are the same widths even though the tire size indicates otherwise. I'm talking about a mm or two but it's enough to make a difference. Most people do not have problems with the 225/50-16 but then again I'm not sure if your suspension has changed anything either?
