Ahh, my brakes suck in the rain...
Hey I just bought my car 2 weeks ago it is a 99.0 with 27K on it and today was the first real day of rain I have driven it and I was on the highway going to work and getting off of the exit I noticed that my brakes were really, really weak? Is this something that happens to A4's? My dads A6 brakes work fine in the rain, do I need new brakes? They felt just like this old Buick I had that I had the hardest time stopping in the rain. Any ideas?

Audi has printed up a service circular to hand out to their customers.
It basically states that brakes are not as effective in the rain as they are in the dry, and as the driver, you should adjust your stopping distances accordingly. It's quite a good read if you like to see a lawyer's attempt at circumventing an engineering problem. :-/

If I recall correctly the "Fix-it" part numbers are:
8D0 698 998A (winglets to attach to belly pan)
8D0 698 998 (larger splash shields for front rotors)
Many have said that these parts improve the wet-braking but are not 100% fix/cure.
Hope this helps.
