Air Conditioning question
I had my evaporator replaced 2 years ago. I've been driving around recently noticing that my AC is getting warmer every day now.
Is there another part of the AC system prone to leaks? I'm going for a shot of freon this week or next, but I'm just puzzled as to why the car would be leaking freon if it has a relatively new evaporator and that's the problem spot.

Is your compressor running? They fail as do the clutches on it.
There is also plumbing where the R-134a(NOT freon) can leak. A qualified A/C shop can find the leak and repair. If that's not it, might be the compressor or something electronic. Check your A/C lines too by the RF shock tower. One should be ice cold. That's the supply line to the condensor.

Compressors are not cheap. Determine what the problem is first.
VAG the car's climate control. Check to see if the compressor comes on when you press the snowflake, etc. You need to do some more diagnosis. If the system is healthy, it shouldn't leak refrigerant.
