Alarm Fuse? is there such thing?
I have the alarm on; and maybe the door switch does not clear it, cause the alarm remaines ON.
Now, as I have my started blocked by the alarm, a mechanic told me to remove the fuse of the alarm.
Is there such thing?
Is there any diagram with the fuses for a 1997 Audi A4 1.8T?

Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of the alarm
or am I not understanding the situation correctly. A fuse that, when removed, turns off the alarm and lets you start the car?
Anyways have you tried turning off the alarm by using the key in the other door or trunk?

Yes, that makes the car much easier to be stolen, but at least this is what a "service advisor" from Audi told me. Turn the key in the passanger lock (here might be the problem because a "specialist mechanic" worked at the door lock) or at the ignition switch (also a possible point of failure because "another specialist" changed the ignition switch - while breaking the turn signal coloumn.... but that's adifferent story).
Since none of the above sugestions worked, he told me about the fuse.
