Default For all you Jaspis Green fanatics...

Here's my new baby!!! =) Not the greatest pics, but they'll have to suffice for now...

We need to form our own subculture, as I have yet to see another Jaspis A4 anywhere. I've seen a total of *one* A6 in this color so far. Maybe we're all missing something... but I like the color. Of course, I'm biased...

Default Oh, and for those who ask what a Jaspis is... (pic)

...scientifically, it's a mineral variant of quartz laced with hematite, which makes it... *RED*!!! The red stuff in the rock above is "Jaspis" Apparently, it's localized to a certain region of Sweden.

Whichever Audi marketoid decided Jaspis sounded good as green... heh.

It's also mentioned in the bible somewhere, as I've found a few references to it in that context.

Enjoy!

I don't know if it's your pic, but my Jaspis has much more of a greenish look than yours (in RL anyways). Maybe it's the coating of s**t that's on mine right now. Yes, a four letter word starting with 's' and ending with 't' - SALT!
If it ever gets above zero here, I'll have to giver er a warsh.

"Rock Solid" would be a good name for your car!

Default It is greener under full light... changes to bluish tint as light goes away.

Granted... it's a scan of a print, so take with a grain of salt (no pun intended) all the color shifting that occurs as a result. =)

Default I'm still wondering why my car is called PELICAN BLUE

Last time I checked, a Pelican is a bird -- and not a rock.
And I have never seen a blue pelican.
Come to think of it, I've never seen this shade of blue anywhere in nature either ! :-)
