Aluminum Skid Plates
So my slid plate finally ate it, and I'm thinking about getting an aluminum one to replace it. I've found a couple from Dieselgeek.com and Evolution Import for about the same price. I was wonder if anyone has had any experience with either, or know of any others that are better. Thanks in advance.

How quick was the install? Looks pretty simple from what I've found online. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a lift or anything more than some jack stands and a floor jack. I definitely don't plan to buy the plastic piece of junk.

I made one out of diamond plate 1/4 inch aluminum. But I also have an aftermarket front spoiler and some mods to hold a large IC. take to a fab shop and have them look at it. Tis may be overkill, but I have a dry sump pan on the engine and did it mostly to protect the belt that runs the pumps. It does work quite well with some braces welded in. Either choice you mentioned may be adequate for a stock setup.
