Default Any advice on diagnosing a wiper failure?

Ah my first component failure. Can't say I wasn't anticipating you. Hopped in my car to go to work early for once and flipped on the wipers to clear the morning dew from the windshield. Nothing, no twitch, no sound, nothing. Checked the fuse, it's good. Wiper fluid still sprays. Guess it's time to break out the voltmeter.

If this has happened to anyone else or if there's an online article I haven't found I'd really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks!

Default Before you get out the voltmeter, manually move the wipers a fews millimeters and

see if that does anything.

Default there are 3 parts of the wiper system. The motor, the swtich, and the relay.

I dealt with this prob last winter. Rain-X was holding it down for me for a few months while I was dealing with this problem. My problem was a burned out motor.
