Any new info on M2000 1.8T changes to computer? Dyno results?
There seemed to be some people indicating that the 2000 model year had the the boost increased to as much as 8PSI (or more)... and also that the timing and/or fuel map might have been changed. Has anyone put the 2000 on a Dynojet and found out how much power it is putting out? I am kind of curious about this... I wonder if the engine is borrowing from the TT's fuel map and turbo settings.

I've heard there is slightly more boost, but the throttle-by-wire ECU also gives more timing advance. I don't know if thats true though.
Something is up, 'cause my stock '00 A4 is running much faster than any stock <99.5 I've been in. I've timed it at 6.92 secs 0-60 on the gtech pro, and regularly run 7.0-7.1 without abusing it.
I'm curious if chipping the 2000 will see as big of an increase since it looks like Audi may have turned up the wick at the factory.

Wow, I think it would have to be making at least 170 bhp to pull those numbers (more)
My 97 GS-R (170 hp) was doing right around 7 seconds, and that's a car that weighs over 500 lbs LESS than the Audi.... I know that the Audi has more torque and is geared better but I don't see how it could pull those numbers without making substantially more power than the claimed 150 hp.

The answer may be low driveline loss
I've heard it suggested that the B5's very low driveline loss (I've seen as little as 8% claimed) result in the car being significantly faster than crank hp numbers indicate. This may also explain why tuners sometimes claim extra-high hp and torque numbers for their chips, and when called on it, claim that the stock car they tested had 170 hp or 179 lb-ft of torque.

Denver,
We also have a 97 Integra GSR, which I have at least 10K miles driving in....problem with the GSR is it spins the tires like crazy at launch. You cant get a clean start without losing lots of time as you drop below VTEC-range. We've gotten 7.0-7.2's on it.
The GSR is a fun car, would be a blast on the track. But around town, its got poor ergonomics, dangerous visibility, twitchy handling, and a civic interior. Typical bulletproof reliability though, and 32mpg.
I'm trying to talk the wife into a 323is as the next car. She wants a Yellow S4 now though :-)
