Default Anybody know the latest X-chip revision?

Just curious to see if there were any updates released? If so, which version is it and what changes have been made?

Default You can find the latest updates on www.giacusa or by looking on AWE's web site

link below of the Audi chip file list. The list shows the latest file to be 018ch01d.08a<ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/AUDI_CHIP_CATALOG_0403.pdf">click, it is a pdf file</a></li></ul>

Default That catalog is almost a year old. There have been a few updates to the software since.

Unfortunately, GIAC does not publish this info, AFAIK.

Default what updates?

018ch01d.08a is the only file for the X that I know of. (other than the file put on the IBE, which is still the same version)

Default Re: what updates?

The part number on my invoice from AWE is CH02e.08i

However, around August last year there was a guy here (bruuster) claiming that GIAC just updated it to CH02f.08i, and he was getting his updated with that version. Actually, this is the version that's listed on GIAC's site right now, too (CH02F.08A). I suppose the 'i' at the end just means that it's the IBE version, not sure.

I do not know what the differences are between d, e, and f versions.

The 08A is the single board and the 08i is the IBE.
