Anyone ever get an "exhibition of power" ticket in their A4?

Now if you broke traction going from 2nd to 3rd, that would have been "exhibition of power"!!
Willing to bet that if your exhaust had not alerted him,you would not have gotten a ticket!
Even if you are putting 250hp to the wheels, that is still not an exhibit of power in my book

So I just got off the phone...its a $190 fine and 35 for traffic school. What a waste of time....
and money for such a subjective offense. But then again it would cost me that much in gas to get out there for a court date and fight the ticket, so I am just going to have to pay. Dumb cop could have let us go with a warning. I still think the reason he pulled us over was to run background checks of everyone in the car....as he took IDs from all my buddies, 4 of us, and kept us there for about 40 min. while running all of us. It was BS, im angry, that could be mod money!

Any reciprosity with your home State? If no, don't pay the fine ... just don't go back
for 3 years.
BTDT on chicken **** 'offenses' in states I wasn't gonna 'visit' again ... some like Georgia EVER again

Yeah, rules are different now with the national registry and all.
There wasn't a national driver's registry back when I exercised my refusal to play.
Might be a very dangerous 'plan' these days.

I would think a state might take a more agressive stance with a reckless driving than a minor
moving vehicle offense.
As I said in response to owlicks, below, the rules are likely very different now than back when I walked from speeding tickets in NJ, Georgia and NH.
