Everything labeled "Replica" on ebay is bound to be shady and of questionable quality.....
I have not had any experience myself, but if I were you, I would just pony us a little extra $$ and get some Hartmans

Myself and a good friend of mine...
have bought several "replica" wheels on eBay from the seller 'wheelsandcaps' -- check out their store, Wheels and Caps. The two of us have bought Audi replicas and Honda replicas and have found the quality to be very good with no problems after several thousand miles.
As with everything on eBay, it's about the feedback.

My Replica RS4's are made in Italy and look great, no complaints.
Got 'em for a smokin' deal, too--guy shipped me all 4 for $450, but because 2 were bent, one noticeably. Cost me about 100 apiece to get them straightened, but I still came out ahead when I found out they were like 380 apiece brand new.

Lots of things *seem* to be "made in italy" these days.
Carbon bike frames, wheels, etc.
All things that require painting. Quite often it's only that final step that is actually performed in Italy - but it's enough for the mfr. to be able to put that Made in Italy stamp on there instead of Made in China or Taiwan.
Just sayin'....
