My MB Quart adaptors won't fit with my 5 3/8" Focal Polykevlars, so I'm going to have to make something out of MDF.

It's a 99.5. I'm installing them in the front door, stock location.

Default hmm

well i am not sure what to say i tried to fit them in my front doors but they would not fit properly without potentially damaging the window in the long run. I believe they were too deep....i have been told that you can flip the magnet and then it would fit a little better, but i simply decided to place them in my rear deck and placed boston pro's in my fronts.....all i did there was mounted 3 of the 4 screws or 2 of the 3 i don't really remember. GOOD LUCK, let me know if u find a way to fit them in.

can you just shave the hole out a little to make them fit?

Default Just buy the MBQuart adaptors - go to their site - tell them you can't find

em at your local shops and they'll let you order em direct - which is what I did. Make the job of installing 5.25's a 5 minute job. The speakers attach to the doors - there is NO other way to attach them.
