Anyone know the weight difference between A4 1.8 & S4? Is the S4 closer in weight to the A4 V6?

Closer yes, but actually quite a bit more....
...S4s have much more sound deadening etc, they go up to 3500 or 3600 pounds fully loaded. A quattro 1.8T is roughly 3200 or 3300, with a 2.8 being around 3400.

You can check www.audiusa.com, it has the specs for both cars including the weight.
