Default DO NOT USE 100W bulb

i used 100 W bulb before on my A4
2 months later, the electrical switch when kaputt.
Cost: 350 dollars to replace!

if you want more light, save your money and get HID kit instead (from Eric SPP for example).
I am using HID now and believe me it is the best 400 dollars Mod i spent.

good luck

Default I use them in the high beams, but only to motivate slow pokes to move out ot the passing lane.

Huge problem where I live is that people will drive in the left lane, below the speed limit, "because it's there".
