Re: Anyone use GS-27 scratch remover?
Had gotten hit across the side of the rear bumper (silver A4) by a NYC yellow cab, it took out all the yellow paint and any associated marks and scratches. I was surprised, I usually don't get this kind of stuff but my wife got it for her car and I was about to turn my leased car back to the dealer. Did not appear to affect the clear coat. Of course a scratch down to the primer won't work.

Some good results, some not-so-good results....
I got some at Target on a whim. It made some of the smaller, finer scratches completely disappear. And I had a pretty long, deep scratch on the hood that it greatly improved, although it didn't completely remove it.<p>But on some other scratches, there didn't seem to be any effect at all. And after numerous tries on a deeper scratch on the rear decklid, it left a swirl mark that I haven't been able to get rid of.<p>So, I'd say if you use it carefully, it will generally help fine scratches, and deeper ones to a lesser degree. But there are probably better products available.<p>Rich D.<br>'98.0 A4 2.8QM

All that cr*p is is a very light-duty rubbing compound. (more)
If you want to buff out a scratch, first use a very fine polishing compound and see if it works. If not, try a more abrasive compound. Be very careful if you've never used compound before, it can take your paint right off! How 'bout seeing a professional. After you compound, make sure to buy a product that will remove the fine swirl marks left behind. Such products can be found at carecaronline.com.
