Default okay......here you go

first you are restricted in size with the stock A4 bumper...take some measurements yourself or search for some manufactured FM that fit within the stock a4 bumper. Secondly you need to be able to flow at least 420 cfm. That was calculated a little bit high using 100 F, 18psi boost, sea level, 85% volumetric effeciency ,and a 3 psi delta p across the IC (there are some more factors but none really that important). Next look on the web for cores, I have been looking at bell intercoolers, they have quite a large selection. Make sure you meet your 420 cfm flow rate with your selection. Also, any machine shop should be able to weld on end caps, and bend IC hoses for you. Lastly, if you plan on doing a larger bumper, S4/RS4, wait to put in the FMIC until after the bumper conversion.

Default thank you. I was looking on ebay, and the only specs I saw

listed were dimensions. if they don't give the cfm info, is there a way to calculate? again, thanks for your info.

Default if you have the dimensions....

take the CFM and divide it by the cross sectional area and this will give you a velocity. ie (CFM/AREA(ft2))/60. your velocity should be around 100-130 ft/sec. Also I made a mistake and gave you compressor inlet CFM of 420, for intercooler sizing you need compressor outlet CFM witch is 230 CFM. It is less because you are pressurizing the air making it denser.
