AudiJunkie - thoughts on Redline 5w-40?

I'm not Audi Junkie and I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but it's a great oil
from the research that I've been doing since I want something better than the M1 5w40 TDT that I've been using (M1 0w40 before that). I did use Motul V300 Motorsport 5w40 and that was the best oil for lower engine temps, but it's $$$$. (Blackstone report in my PP)
I've been think either Elf/Total 5w40, Castrol Syntec 5w50, Shell Rotella 5w40, Pennzoil Plat 5w40 or the Redline 5w40 (and others, but these seems to be the top performers). So far, I think I'm going to use the Castrol Syntec 5w50 at my 115k oil change, which I just did the 110k with the M1 5w40 TDT since I still had some on the shelf along with a qt of M1 0w40 -- so that's what went in.
fwiw, Redline's Vis @ 100c cSt is 15.1 and anything above a 14 is good, imo.

Castrol Syntec 5w40 and 5w50 here:
and you can see the 5w50 is 17.4 at 100 and exceeds the 5w40 standards that pass the VW502/505 tests. AND, it's on part with M1 pricing. Do you or anyone else know more about Valvoline Extreme Blue Full Syn 5W40?
I work with a lot of Diesel Truck Guys and they either swear by Rotella or this. I don't see any Gasoline ratings on this though like I do for the Shell Rotella T 5W40?
