He pointed out how the front wheels were so dirty of brake dust, Is it like that after a week of driving? He was going on about how his avalon never gets like that. It just first few hundred miles of ownership and then gone forever or what?<p>Andrew

Mine are still dusty at 8600 miles. But I didn't choose an Audi because of the amount of brake dust. If brake dust is a major factor in anyone's decision, maybe a Toyota is the way to go. Or have your dealer install a set of Rofrens/Raybestos/whatever at your next service.<p>Just don't let your friend drive your A4... His Avalon will be up for sale before you can say "You asked for it, you got it!"<p>Best of best,<br>Steve
