Default audis need more power

My audi a4 2.8 quattro tiptronic is just plainly slow. The acceleration is far from being astonishing since the 193hp that the engine produces needs to propel a mass of over 3600 pounds. I lost to an honda civic se (127hp) from light to light. I am dissapointed in the audis performance and recently Car and Driver compared the audi a4 3.0 with 7 other sedans and it came 5th while being the slowest of the group 0-60 in 7.5s (6-speed manual). However, BMW on the other hand with about the same engine hp are much quicker than the audis. By the way, going to drag race an BMW 325i manual any thoughts...

Default Buy an F'n supercharger, exhaust, tint the windows get some 20's

and STFA for some other tips on speeding up the 2.8.

More power to a german car is harder and more expensive than an import, just remember that.

Default So get a supercharger

You knew it was slow when you bought it. You can fix that by adding a supercharger to the 2.8. There are a lot more solutions for people with a 1.8T.

Cheers,

Default if you bought your car to drag race, you bought if for the wrong reasons.

Oh yeah, and if the guy in a 325i knows how to shift, you'll be watching his *** from a distance. :-)

unless it's raining...
