Default AWE-Tuning Pricing for GIAC chipped ECU?
Does anyone know (roughly) how much it would be to get a second chipped ECU for my 99.5 A4 1.8T quattro/tiptronic from AWE? I would like to chip the car but can't really do the "no car while I wait for the ECU to come back" deal and would also like to retain my stock ECU 'just in case'. I know I can call them but I don't want to wait till monday

Default should say right on their website
or, drive to a local shop so you don't have to wait. AWE is pretty damn quick with shipping, maybe one day downtime depending on how far away you are.

are'nt ECU's $550 at Clair Auto parts ??? then $495 for chip.

You can find a non dbw stock ecu online for about $250.
