okay i want to put some sub(s) in my a4 and i dont want to spend a great deal of money. I was told the basslink was a great bang for the buck. However i heard that it doesnt have alot of lowend bass for like rap. But instead it is more geared towards punk etc. I listen to alot of both but i want a good amount of bass for the rap. I understand that it has 10's not 12's which would give me more bass but i still would like some wooping bass.

Why not just buy a 10 with a box and amp....you will be much happier. I just did 2 10s and its great

I don't listen to rap, but yes - you'd probably be better off with bigger drivers, like 12". You'll sacrifice clarity, but you'll have a lot of deep low-end.

For trance/techno, my Basslink is perfect. A great complement to the stock stereo.

where did u get the sub+amp? and how much did it cost? including install?

$850. It sounds like a lot but its really not. You would be happy with even 1 10 tho. My system is very loud and very bassey. Good Luck
