yeah, its possible....
its difficult, but possible. this time was achieved with a great launch im sure. but the logistics of it say that it is possible, a 3200-3300 lb car with 290 hp at the flywheel.

Re: Those numbers were done with a GTI and a Stage 3 + that has more work on it then you plan on doi
The GTI has a stage 3 and the A4 had a stage 3+ with motor work and other stuff on the car and stock stuff taken off.

There was no internal work done to the engine, only cams
The intake was thermally coated; but thats about it.
It DOES NOT have lower compression pistons or porting and polishing. It DOES have the following:
-APR S3+ with Schrick Cams(not the race cams, the street cams).
-Extrude Honed, thermal coated INTAKE MANIFOLD.... NOT the head or exhaust manifold.
-ORIGINAL STOCK engine w/ 60,000 miles on it... NEVER been apart.
-Custom 3" exhaust with test pipe.
-APR OFF-THE-SHELF Lightweight Clutch/Flywheel
-Custom programming for UNLEADED race gas.
-FULL interior AND trunk... Different drivers seat, no spare, no tools. FIBERGLASS hood... And while the are lightweight wheels, they are still 18" lightweight wheels. The 4piston 13" brakes make up the difference for those...
The car ran a 13.16 @ 109.46 with a 2.2 60'.
It had an old slipping clutch to boot, as the clutch had seen 40k+ miles of torture testing.

:D
I just find it incredibly hilarious that Mike continually comments on facts he has no experience with. There are only 3 stage 3+ cars, yet he knows what they can do with a good driver. Only 1 stage 3+ has dragged, the APR one at ATCO. (read again Mike I said 3 PLUS.)
Dunno what to say about it anymore; it's beyond me why he always has something to say about the kits, but I have my suspicions.
