Hey all--<p>The VW beetle turbo site (http://www.turbonium.com/flash/index.html) states that the 1.8t engine's max torque (at 2200 rpm) is 162 pound-feet, not the U.S. A4 1.8t's familiar 155. Also lists a 91 octane fuel requirment (vs. the A4 91-octane "recomendation"). (This is from the pop-up screen under the "more data" link.)<p>Is this a different engine control program for the 1.8t in the beetle? Or is it some foreign market specification? (If so, why the non-metric stats?)<p>Hmmm. --Shane
