Broke ABS wheel sensor doing wheel bearings in rear.
1998.5 A4 2.8tq
How are you supposed to get these out without destroying them? These do NOT have the hex bolt they just slip in/out, I tried to carefully spin and release but the head spun independant of the magnet and now it's trashed :/

Use a Hub Tamer or Hub Shark...
The wheel bearings can be pressed out and then back in without disturbing the ABS wheel sensor. BTDT with both of the rear on my Avant.
You could also unplug the sensors under the rear seat, and remove the wiring when you pull the knuckle.

I already pulled the hubs and had my buddy's shop press the new ones in, it's back on the road, but that one ABS sensor needs replaced
