Actually doesn't have to be WOT...just hard acceleration. I took the car to the dealer this afternoon, but they said they could not smell anything. It's frustrating because my friend and I both can smell something burning. The burning smell is brief and happens a second or two after I hit 4-5 K rpm's. My car has been chipped for a week now. The smell is more pronounced it seems when in chip mode, but the smell is also there when driving stock. Is there anyone in the Atlanta area who would be willing to ride with me and possibly diagnose what is burning? Your help would be appreciated.

in of your hoses, id check them. other than that, it could be a lof things. sounds like it might be oil leak.

How many miles do you have on your car? My car smelled like it was buring for the first 9-10K. Just the initial paint being burned off the engine...
