Can bottom cushion leatherette seat covering be replaced by itself?

probably, call a shop. some shops can redo the entire seat w. airbags if that's your worry

I have several smalls tears in the seat bottom side bolster (no idea how they got there). My dealer is proposing to fix them somehow, but has not mentioned replacing anything. So my question is, is the seat bottom vinyl covering something that Audi could replace without replacing the whole seat bottom cushion or the whole seat. Seems like the cost of just the vinyl covering should not be prohibitive.
