Can I get a new dipstick from anywhere besides the dealer? Mine just broke.

ur dip stick broke or the orange plastic neck thing broke?
if it's the plastic neck thing it's like $7 i think. not sure about the dip stick.
my dealer just gave me one and installed it for free. took all of 10 min.

It's the orange collar, and it's completely shattered. How do I get the orange part out that goes..
into the dipstick hole? The rest of it just shattered off when I tried to remove it, but I can't get the part that goes in the hole!
I bought a new collar from the VW dealer for $2.75. not bad!

Damn, that's gonna suck. I had to use vice grips to get off the bottom part of mine that broke.
It's such a pain with that damn manifold in the way!
