can a shop aim ecodes properly?the guy said it was done by machine, but is it then aimed 4 US specs?

yes, they can only if they have the right equipment. but its an easy DIY
1. have level ground with wall. Store in parking lot works good for this.
2. pull car up to wall, put dots on the wall where your HID's projector lenses are (centerpoint).
3. Back up exactly 25 feet.
4. Adjust side-to-side adjuster so that the break in the lights "upsweep" points are right at those dots.
5. Adjust the up-and-down so that the flat part of the light is an inch below the the height of the dot above the grounds level.
That should do it.

I think the machine requires the three raised dots on the lens
that ecode lights do not have.
I don't think you can aim them by machine.
