Default .

who told you that?

In most cases you can reuse your oem.

If not they are ~$15.

Default my original one was in three pieces - i'd definitely get a new gasket

Especially when it's only like $15.

Default Well if it's screwed up, you should replace it.

But the oem one is a metallic gasket, and it's been reused several times on my car without any problems, so for someone whos just adding an exhaust for the first time, there should be no reason for it to be damaged.
