Default Can't beleive what I found in the Parking lot here at work. WTF!@

Okay one of my co-workers comes in from the parking lot and says there is a car out there covered in snow with a dog in it..

Huh..?? Okay so I go out to investigate and in fact there is a car out there that has obviously been there for well over a day cause it just snowed. Cute little husky with two different color eyes.
WTF!!!

I don't stand for **** like this. I was just about to break the window with a brick before my co-worker opened the door through the window (the owner was nice enough to leave the window down a bit in 20 degree weather). So we got the dog out and it was more then happy to be out running around. Poop on the back seat too.. Poor thing.

Fvck that. I called the cops. They sent down animal controll and come to find out she already knew. As soon as the cops reported Maine plates she knew because she had already been here last summer for the same issue!!!!! WTF!!!! She was pissed off, and so was I.

Asked if we would testify if and when they decide to press charges. I said hellz yes. I can't beleive that anyone would do something like that. Not only that but there were people already that discoverd it and did nothing. That makes me mad as well.. Thats fine I took action.

I still want to go over and break her damn window with a rock.

Default Main thing now is to make sure that poor dog isn't killed...

Animal control often kills ("euthanizes") dogs and cats they pick up. Mass. state law requires a 10 day holding period, but after that all bets are off. Whnever I help rescue an animal that winds up with Animal Control I consider it a personal responsibility to make sure the animal doesn't die due to my actions.

If the dog is a pure bred husky, then Husky resuce (URL below) may be able to help. If not, you may want to consider bailng the dog out of Animal Control if he/she is in danger and getting the dog to a no-kill shelter. I can definitely help you with that if necessary; I know some good ones.

Did the dog by any chance get taken by the Sterling Animal Shelter? I know they take in animals from several towns in your area. If so, the dog may be in serious trouble. I personally know of a case in which an excellent puppy was supposedly put down by Sterling for no good reason after being surrendered by an owner who had to relocate and was promised it was a no-kill shelter. The guy and his family were devastated.

Good for you for helping! Please keep tabs on this poor dog.<ul><li><a href="http://www.siberianrescue.com/newengland.htm#Massachusetts">Massachusetts Husky Rescue</a></li></ul>
