Any tips on finding a cheap replacement cartridge for my 1996 A4? The dealer charger me 67 bucks for it my eyeballs fell out at this one and I've been messing with Audis for ten years I should know better. Anyway someone swiped it from me at the gym so I need to get a new one. I've emailed Clair for a price quote. If anyone has any ideas let me know. The part number is 4D0-051-179

They are under accessories then electronics

Don't know if '96 and '97 were/are the same. I found the cartridges I needed at a local stereo store. I think--it's be about three years--I paid about $20 each.

What radio do you have. Crutchfield has the panasonic cartridges for around $24.00

Yup, '96 and '97 A4 both had the Delta headunit with the Alpine-made OEM changer
