Default click here to find out how leaving your dome light on can cost you $60

So apparently a new thing at the dealership is having to bring your car in so they can provide you with your radio code. I left the dome light on while working on a friends A4 and I've gotten quotes from $50 all the way up to $115 to retreive the radio code. I have the VIN number and AUZ number from the radio. If anyone is willing or able to help please let me know.

Default That's not new by any means. You're battery must be old. I've left my dome light on

before overnight by accident, but the car turned it off after some point because when I came out in the morning it was off. When I started the car without any problem, it came back on and that's when I realized that I left it on.

Almost everything that's factory in my car turns off after like an hour or so, with the exception of the exterior lights and the cig outlet. Radio and interior lights turn off after what seems like an hour when the key is out of the ignition.

Default it should be 0403. At least according to AOA customer service..

They told us "it is the last 4 numbers of the AUZ line". "AUZ, then 5-6 numbers/letters, then last 4 digits."

Could be way off, but they told us this yesterday when we called about radio code..

Default I agree, seems WAY too simple.. Not in typical Audi fashion, but who knows, worth a shot!

My little bro's sticker is all torn up (spare tire wheel well sticker) so this advice did little for us. BUT I decided to quite being an idiot and just pull the cig lighter fuse. Why I wanted to disconnect battery and go through all that nonsense instead of pulling the fuse is beyond me.

That is a *myth*, unless the last owner put it in there.
