Clutch slipping as I engage 2nd gear....but only second...
...and when I do the 5th gear test (at a low speed (25mph) I engage fifth and accelerate to see if there is any slippage...there isn't. Any ideas as to the cause. Does not happen in any other gear. Only between 1st and 2nd. Going from 1st to 3rd works normal.
Ideas?

clutch is probably on it's last leg...
flooring it in 5th gear at 25 wont' slip the clutch. A you're too low in the power band to get the torque and the gearing is way too low... try a third gear 2000 rpm to 6k and see if it slips.
1st and second also have the least overlap as far as ratios goes in our car(if i remember correctly)... so you'll see that.
