Generally, stock Contour SVT's run in the mid 7's 0-60 IIRC.

i own one right now, but i just sold it. they are very fast cars. i am getting a 97 a4 1.8tqms

the only thing that the svt has over the a4, is its handleing, i had h&r's with koni adjustables, and that car stuck like glue, it has a stock .90g handleing and with the suspension mod and S-02 pole positions i was way past .90



so Hopefully in 1 week, i should have my a4 and bye bye to the SVT

for the SVT their is the paxton supercharger, and lot of guys do the 3L upgrade from the current 2.5 L, so they can pull really hard

Very competent car, and at about $14-15K used and loaded, relatively inexpensive. In the end, though, I'm glad I ponied up the extra $$$ for the A4 . . .
