i have a 2001 audi a4 quattro 2.8l engine i am burning coolant at an excessive rate ans there are plumes of smoke coming out of my exhaust pipe when i take off from a stop and the engine is shaking like a misfire

Just to say what may or may not be a real bummer situation: Blown Head Gasket. That's an extreme though - hopefully it's not that bad.
