Dealer said it was scheduled for production last week. Anyone know how long it generally takes from factory to dealer? Am I really looking at another 4 weeks?

scheduled for production last week? You mean it's not even in production yet? Sorry to burst your bubble but the groundhog says 8-10 more weeks of no audi for you.

Call the dealer and get a status code (which will essentially be a report that is 1-2 weeks delayed). Once you get a status code and if possible specific dates (some dealers can get this info) such as loaded on ship, departure of ship, carrier, etc... we can narrow down the ETA of your baby.

if it hasn't been built yet, you're looking at around another 2 months.

For example, my car's build date was June 00. My order was placed early May 2000 and it entered production the end of May. As soon as production was finished a VIN# was obtainable from the dealer (on 1-2 week delay) by the end of June. It was held at the german port (Bremmerhaven) for 5 days and loaded on the ship on June 27. The ship departed on June 29 and arrived San Diego port on July 18. It sat in port awaiting customs and inspection for a week and finally transported to my dealer on July 28. I showed up at the dealer the following day demanding they PDI it and prep for delivery ASAP and drove it home the 29th.

That's about 2 months after it entered production, 3 months after I placed the order.

I ordered first week of March, so I'm probably close. Even with a similar timeframe, I should have it by mid-June (hopefully).
