Dealer says I need a new power steering pump . . .

there was a loud humming sound when the car was cold, especially when turning the wheel and going slow. They say the fluid was low (although there were no loeaks) and the pump is wearing out and should be replaced.
Sound right?
What should it cost? (do not have dealer estimate yet)

Hmmm... I'm having the same symptoms. About to schedule service now. If you don't mind, post their estimate when you get it.
