Downtown LA Audi refused to repair my creeky / groaning steering rack because.....
my car was lowered. They claimed lowering the car damaged the steering rack because the tie rods were at the wrong angle. :shrug: I don't even really know what that means, but they voided my warranty on the steering components over that. Cost me $1500 to get fixed at an independent shop.

my dealer replaced my steering column because of rubbing & scratching sounds...
it was done under warranty. BTW, the dealer is Newport Audi.
