Default Discoloration in mirror
The one cosmetic defect that detracts from my 1.8T, which I will be selling very shortly, is that it looks like some moisture got into the left outside mirror between the glass and the silvered surface, so there is a rusty looking stain along the bottom part of the mirror, behind the glass.

Is there any way to replace just the glass in the mirror? I'm sure the usual "mirror assembly" is way too much to be worth replacing if I'm selling it.

how much do you want for it? Are they the slightly blue tinted ones?

they are blue tinted and heated... I am selling them for $45 for the set

i don't think mine are heated. How can i tell without taking the mirror out?

Default do they heat up when its cold?
otherwise you can just pull it out and see if there are two wires attached to the back.
