Default Yup, I had to use heat

I heated up the bolt real good and then sprayed it down with WD-40 which got sucked in. Then hammered the **** out of it and it finally came out. Unfortunately, the bolt was no good anymore and I had to replace it.

Or if you want to re-use it, leave the nut on there.. that way you don't mash the threads.

Lots of penatrant, and try turning it back and forth a bunch. It will loosen.

Default Simply pull the bolts for the sway bar at the front of the control arms.

Have a buddy push down on teh control arm and poof. Out drops the shock assembly. Chip and I did mine in 4 hour at a slacker pace.

Default Pop off the body plugs, remove the 2 nuts from the top, remove the bottom...

then push down on the brake, and lift the bottom over the lower control arm. This works on all but the 2.7t cars with the big fat CV joints.

Default It's not that bad to remove it, if you do it right....

What I usually do is pop the tie rod end off the knuckle, and use my impact gun to rattle the long pinch bolt off. when I do finally get it, I use lots of anti sieze paste, and put it in backwards, to make it easier to get out the next time.
