Does the power steering pump have hoses that lead elsewhere?
I fixed the leaks where the hoses led from the resevoir to the steering pump but I'm still leaking fluid. I'm just wondering if the steering pump has more hoses that lead elsewhere.

PS fluid cooler, and the PS rack.
Typically, if you're losing fluid, and you've checked the hoses and can't find the leak, then it's usually inside the rack (rebuild/replace = $$$).

My problem is when I turn the wheel all the way right or left the fluid will leak and burn..
I can smell the fluid burn. Does the rack itself get hot enough that when the fluid leaks it will burn? It's hard for me to pinpoint where the burning is coming from but it seems more towards the passenger side.

Re: Will I be able to reach this hose from underneath the car? Is it connected to the rack or pump?
sorry thought your car is a 2.8
you can see the hoses on the driver's side that go to the rack
check from the wheel sides to see if the rack leaks
