Default i understand..

but i wasnt hitting it hard.. oh well it all came out good in the end ..but ofcourse my tie rod ends that i was replaceing arent the right part.. must be for the updated 99+ tierod.. its got an extra metal washer just before the boot

and yes its quite funny... if you dont have the right tools dont do it.
