Door locks hard to turn

Door locks hard to turn
I used my key to unlock my doors ('99 A4) for the first time in a long time yesterday and was surprised at how hard it was to turn the key.
Also, there is a funky squeaking/groaning sound coming from either the fuel filler door or the trunk.
Any ideas of what I can do/what's wrong?

It's hard to turn cuase you're manually activating the vacuum lock system.
Same as pushing down the pin inside teh car. The squeaky groan is the fuel filler door lock - have it lubed. The trunk does it too - have it lubed.

I think that's somewhat normal.. to be honest, I think I have used my key once to unlock the door...
as for the groaning at the filler flap, lock the doors with the filler flap open, and inspect the little pin that sticks out, looking for rust buildup.. clean it, maybe even put some vaseline on it..

Normal due to vacuum locking system. As far as the squeal
All that is is the rubber seal around the locking pin is not lubed and squeaking on the pin when it retracts. open the gas door, lock the car (the pin will come out and spray the seal and pin with some lithium grease. lock and unlock a few times and the squeak will stop.
