Dremel the APR snub while on the spindle?
Has anyone done this? Mine needs to be shaved to reduce vibration, and someone said on a 2001 post that you could do it by loosening the housing and rotating the snub 90 degrees so that a dremel could fit between the snub and the housing. I found I could get a dremel to the front of the snub, but not to the rear 50%, so it still vibrates. Any thoughts? Is there a special dremel or dremel tip that can get in this tight space?

IMO clearancing the snub is a bad idea. I would pull the basket and clearance it. The urathane is at
it's strongest and has it's greatest chemical resistance when the surface skin is intact. Also, clearancing the basket will keep the fit the same if the snub rotates a few degress.
