Default Driving in hard rain on twisty backroads.......

I was driving on some twisty backroads in some heavy driving rain for an hour or so Monday night. This is the first time really driving like this since buying my car in March, and it was great! Between the sport package Dunlops and the quattro awd my little 2.8 stuck to the road like glue, complete confidence. I was very impressed!<p>Philbiker

Here in FL, I knew I bought the RIGHT car when I gunned it around a wet corner @ 60. Never slipped

Default Quattro (or, Why I bought an Audi)

Driving home from the Tarrytown (NY) trainstation requires a right turn into traffic (rt 9) from a very steep uphill incline. In the rain, my Mustang would require a huge opening for me to get over the hump and into traffic b/c if I let the clutch out at any faster than 1mm per second it would "sit and spin". In snow, I had to take a different route.

1st rainy day in the new A4 Quattro, I stomped on the gas and launched into traffic without a moments' hesitation. Both my wife and I went "wowwwww!"

One more satisfied customer.
