E-code vertical aiming problem...

OK. Details inside:
What I had done was I adjusted both screws to their fullest. Basically, what I figured the screws do is push against the back plate that the low and high beams sit on. Since I adjusted the screws forward all the way, the plate was pushed against the front of the housing and there was no more room to screw in.
So what I did was back the adjustments out so the plate had more room. I guess the two adjustments are inter-dependent. They both work together to adjust the vertical and horizontal alignment. For part of the adjustments, one screw adjusts the vertical, then later on it adjusts the horizontal as well. It's really weird.
I hope that made sense. If not I can try to take some pictures later.
