ECS heavy duty (Meyle) tie rod end pics
For your amusement & reference...
The ends weigh 1.5 pounds. From the looks of the S4 ends, I'd say they probably weigh less. I put the key in the pictures for scale.

The label on the box. It was sealed with a holographic sticker. I suppose to combat against the knockoffs I read about.

The ECS "Hardware Kit". As you might notice, it's missing a piece that they show in the pictures. That's because the piece is included in the tie rod end boxes.

I got a K&N and the "recharger" with them, which works well and eliminated some hesitation I was feeling in the engine.
The ends go on tomorrow, along with an alignment and rotation. I'll post something else in this thread after I play with them.

I just bought those today from ECS..I hope it fixes
the really loose steering and slight wandering while driving on the freeway. My car just doesn't feel stable at all... =[ Do you have the same problem with your worn out rods?

The car is solid. Feels like "new", (which was used a year ago). I got an alignment with the install, and that fixed up some weird squeaking problems I was having from the left side of the car.
