From Ecstasy to suicidal in a matter of 30 seconds!!
Picked up my 2001.5 yesterday afternoon and was just driving out of my parking spot when a car jockey rounded the corner at warp speed and wacks into my virgin bumper!!!
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Dealer was apologetic and got a bumper from another new and same colour A4 and installed it. Seems good as new but what a way to start off my new car!!
After telling this story to friends, I have heard all kinds of responses as to what they would have done?
What would you folks have done?????

Re: Check for hidden damage. Esp the frame. And an S4 bumper.
Yep!
Dealer allowed me to inspect the front end when the bumper was off and we checked all the allignments of the panels!

Bahaha...neither was I and it bent the frame...get it checked out
and then demand money for the damage...you'll find that many dealers won't allow you to trade in a car that has had frame damage of any kind no matter how minor. Get it in writing that THEY will give you a trade in at fair market value if you can't get compensation for dimunition of value.
